There is some current funding available through the SC Office of Rural Health. The selection process is mainly based on your zip code, (whether you live in a rural area) and if you will be providing care to those in rural areas.
Funding may be available for EMT, AEMT and Paramedic. You may apply for this funding only if you are already enrolled to take the class.

If you are approved, the funds will be sent to the Region and credited to you. Funding amounts can vary depending on the number of applications.

Remember these are competitive funds. Just applying does NOT guarantee award
of funds. One thing for certain, if you don’t apply you certainly won’t receive
them.
