EMT Course (EMT)

This is an EMT class being offered in the traditional/hybrid format. The didactic materials will be covered online and in class with skills stations spread throughout the course. This is a 200 hour course. This is a night time course. Cost: $1,450.00 Payment plan and grant may be available Aug 30, 2018- March 2019

Advanced EMT Course

This is a blended AEMT course which will be held with the didactic materials presented in an online and traditional format. Skills will be spaced throughout the course. The course covers 248 hours and will have approximately 50 hours of clinical rotations. Class size is limited. Anatomy & Physiology

This is a hybrid course. Registration is open now until September 1, 2018. The course must be completed by September 30. This is the required pre-requisite for the Paramedic Course starting in October. Cost: $350.00 August 1, 2018 - September 30, 2018

BLS (CPR) Refresher Courses

Designed to re-certify the health care professional in CPR and Airway Obstruction as well as AED use. Class Minimum is 6 Maximum is 12. Cost $60 Courses are held the 3rd or 4th Wednesday each month @ 10:00. Call for specific dates.

ACLS Refresher Courses

Designed to re-certify the health care professional in ACLS procedures. Class minimum is 6, Maximum is 12. Cost:$60 Courses are held the third or fourth Thursday of each month at 10:00 AM. Call for specific dates.

PALS Refresher Courses

Designed to re-certify the health care professional in PALS procedures. Class minimum is 6, Maximum is 12. Cost:$60 Courses are held the third or fourth Friday of each month at 10:00 AM. Call for specific dates.

This course is a hybrid program which allows you to work at your speed (within a set time frame) and come into the Region for skills verification and final exam. The course is designed to provide all of the knowledge and skills needed for renewal of your NREMT requirements biannually. Cost $300 Courses begin every odd month; Jan, Mar, May, July, Sept, Nov

Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS)

PHTLS presents the initial materials for current Trauma therapy in the prehospital setting. There are courses designed for both the EMT and Advanced levels of care. PHTLS courses have a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 24. Cost: $75.00 (does not include text) Textbook:$75.00

Emergency Pediatric Care (EPC)

EPC presents the pediatric emergency care from the pre-hospital environment. Courses have a minimum of 6 and maximum of 24. Cost: $75.00 Textbook: $45.00

Certified Emergency Vehicle Operations 4 (CEVO 4)

The course is being offered as an online course. With Regulation 61-7 revision all current drivers must have CEVO certification within 6 months of the regulation revision and all new hires have 6 months to complete the course. Cost: $50.00

Emergency Medical Responder (EMR)

This course is a traditional course taught two nights a week (6-10 pm) and every other Saturday (9-5). This course is 70 hours, designed with the prospective First Responder in mind. Cost:$300.00 (text included) or $200.00 (supply your own text)
